Welcome to Stoughton Apostolic Church!
We are a family friendly church in Stoughton, SK., that has been around for almost 100 years. We are a member church of the Apostolic Church of Pentecost (ACOP), with a vibrant Sunday School, a bi-annual Kids Club Outreach Program, a youth group, and we are a big supporter of missions both at home and abroad. Through our kids and youth programs, prayer groups, equipping and study groups, Sunday services and more, we aim to bring glory to God through Jesus Christ and accomplish our mission:

What we believe...
The infallibility and inspiration of the Holy Scriptures. 2 Timothy 3: 16, 2 Peter 1:20-21. One true God who has revealed Himself to the world as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4: 4-6, 2 Corinthians 5:19. The salvation of sinners by grace alone through faith in the perfect sufficient work of Christ and in the shedding of His blood at the cross of Calvary. Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1: 14. Water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2: 38. (Understanding that baptism is not a means of salvation, but an outward evidence of an inward work of grace.) The Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the Biblical sign of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 19:1-6. The gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12:1-14 being exercised and practised as manifest in the early church. The perfecting of holiness in the fear of God, the Spirit filled life and a walk of separation from the world as an evidence of Christian faith. Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 5:8, Romans 12:1-2, 1 John: 2:15-17, James 4:4, Galatians 5:22-25, (Fruit of the Spirit). The personal return of Christ Jesus, in the translation of His saints. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, and in the setting up His Kingdom. Acts 1:11, Revelation 20:5, 21:8. The eternal life of the believer and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever. Eternal life: John 3:16, John 10:27-29. Eternal punishment: Revelation 20:5, 21:8. Divine healing in its many aspects as practised by the early church. Exodus 15:26, Psalms 103:2-3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Mark 16:17& 18, James 5:14, Acts 3:6. The Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper of Communion for believers. The reality and personality of Satan. 1 Peter 5:8, James 4:7, Ephesians 6:11. The Saviour of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. 1 Timothy 2:5, Matthew 1:23. The Gospel of the Grace of God, how that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. John 11:25, 1 Peter 1:3. We believe in the sanctity of marriage, as a life long exclusive commitment between one man and one woman.
Pastor
Zach Sloane
Zach and Jen Sloane have been married for 19 years and have three teenage kids. Having grown up in Southwestern Ontario, Zach and family moved west in 2023, and are now very happy to call Stoughton, SK their home. Zach has been serving as the Lead Pastor since the Fall of 2024, looking to serve this church and the people God loves in this community. We are very excited about what God is doing in our lives, in this church, and in this community. We are very grateful for the opportunity to serve God's purpose for this church, believing God is able to do amongst us even more than we could ask or image!
